The fuse blew any time we tried to use the kettle, so although there was a good selection of kitchen facilities available, we didn't use many of them as we were afraid of blowing the fuse.
The man who welcomed us (didn't catch his name) was very friendly and helpful, showing us where we'd find various things ie. Supermarket, nightclubs.
Although we walked pretty much everywhere, on the rare occasion we did take the metro, we found it to be very frequent and easy to get around, as well as reasonably priced tickets. So if you don't feel up to walking 8-12km a day as we did I would recommend finding a good metro map and using it!
The apartment itself was more or less what we expected - central, clean, basic and inevitably smaller than the photos depict.

Maria was very kind! the little shop, for renting bicycles, nearby, was useful and we could let our luggages there, the young man was helpful!
The location is just perfect!!!! It is the main positive thing about the accommodation!
Maybe more towels would have been greater
The only negative thing was the WIFI, it wasn't good, there was one small active spot near the balconny. But i still would rent the same place again and recommand it to everyone.

Difficile per chi viaggia in auto, trovandosi al centro non ci sono parcheggi, bisogna parcheggiare per forza in quelli custoditi.

The location of the apartment is just more than perfect (I could mention this 1000+ times and it's definitely the most valuable thing about this apartment)... 10-15 minutes walk from the beach, supermarket, bakery and clothing store just beneath the apartment.. The pizza place on the corner is also recommended! Super nice to walk around in the gothic area, and living there was just more awesome! It was easy to walk to a metro nearby (either Jaume 1 or Barceloneta). La Rambla is also only minutes away.. Further, it was possible to walk to Port Vell and the Maremagnum shopping mall was also only 10 minutes walk away.
The biggest and I think only problem during our stay was the Wi-Fi, which didn't work well inside the house. It worked fine from time to time, but most of the time a big problem (especially considering we all needed it to plan our day). Furthermore, it should be noticed that there is a lot of street noise during night and day, but it was not a problem for us though. Great that there was air-conditioning in the bedroom and a fan in the living room.

Situation exceptionnelle dans le vieux Barcelone avec 2 métro proches et des commerces à proximité.
Attention néanmoins au bruit si on dort dans le canapé du salon, pas de double vitrage.
A noter pour les petites améliorations : une latte en moins sur le sommier du canapé, la télécommande de la climatisation/chauffage un peu capricieuse et enfin 2 ou 3 prises multiples seraient un plus.
Nous sommes contents de lire que vous avez apprécié cet petit appartement agréable et son emplacement!

María nos ha tomado puntualmente en la recepción y se ha ocupado muy bien e inmediatamente de nuestros deseos. Marai ha hecho un trabajo fantástico. También la fuerza de limpieza / señora de la limpieza era muy educada y servicial.

Pour l'appartement, il serait bon de remplacer les serviettes par des draps de bain. Il manque un double vitrage du côté de la rue. Bonne qualité de literie.

Et pour nous en famille, on préfère largement la formule appartement à celle d'un hôtel. On se sent plus libre de manger dehors ou pas. économiquement c'est plus adapté à notre budget.
