3rd story quiet apartment despite noisy crowded (in Summer) non-vehicle street. Has a secure entrance and is in a recently re-modeled building. Right in the middle of the city between the Santa Maria del Pi Basilica, the Cathedral, the Placa del Reyes, and the le Cieu Opera House etc.

Très bel appartement très bien situé. Un séjour de rêve. Le lieu est un peu sombre mais très tranquille même si situé au coeur du Bari gothic.

À l'arrivée, comme convenu, nous téléphonons et fixons rendez-vous. Toutefois, c'est avec plus d'une heure quinze de retard que la personne s'est,présentée. Assez désagréable.

Pour le reste, tout était parfait.

J'ai pris contact avec John qui devait vous accueillir à l'appartement. Il n'a pas pu venir à cause d'une fuite d'eau dans un autre appartement. Il a contacté Julie qui était normalement en congé. Elle s'est dépêchée de venir mais ça a pris plus de temps que prévu.

In terms of the feedback, this was not our first visit to Barcelona but I speak for both myself and my wife when I say that the apartment was nothing short of perfection for what we needed.

The décor inside was great – beautiful wooden floors, quirky artwork, strip brickwork…. it had it all. Also, the location was absolutely first class as it was only about a minute walk to the Ramblas and the Boqueria making it very central and easy for us to get pretty much anywhere.

In addition to that, I should add that Jeff was the perfect host – he was very helpful on arrival making sure that we understood all of the do’s and don’ts for the apartment, which were absolutely fine. Also, when we decided to stay for an extra day because we were enjoying ourselves so much, Jeff was extremely accommodating and made it very simple for us to do so.

All in all, this was a really great stay and we will definitely be returning. I would also not hesitate to recommend Gotic Dream to anybody else looking to stay in Central Barcelona – it really is a great place.

We were very pleased. Apartment is exactly as described. The location was superb- easy access to Barri Gotic, Raval and Passeig de Gracia. It was relatively quiet at night as there is no car traffic and no outside restaurants on the area around the apartment. When we walked up to the area that did have car traffic, we were so happy to go back to the quiet of the pedestrian areas. We were very secure and very comfortable.

This is our second rental and you do a great job.

Nous avons été particulièrement satisfaits mon épouse et moi de ce logement central, facile d'accès, confortable, bien équipé et joliment décoré.
Nous avons eu la chance d'être fort courtoisement accueillis par Jeff, le propriétaire, qui nous a donné non seulement les clés du logement mais aussi quelques judicieux conseils pour notre séjour.

We appreciated our stay in the Gotic Dream appartment. The location is excellent, many shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The boqueria market is at 2 minutes walk. However, the neighbourhood is very noisy, especially during the week end and our 5 months baby could not sleep well.

Jeff est tres sympathique , accueillant , de bon conseil et tres arrangeant .
L'appartement est neuf et d'une propreté parfaite .Tres bien situé dans le centre historique nous avons pu faire plein de visites à pied il est a 5mn de la rambla et 10 mn à pied des commerces du métro et de tous les bus .

This apartment has a vibe thats romantic and cosy and colorful. Very well appointed and such a perfect location and hardly any street noise. We were very lucky to be so centrally located and in such a beautiful space, I had a hard time leaving in the mornings! By far my favorite city stay ever! The only minor challenge was the very soft mattress which me not be preferred by everyone.

Logement super bien situé à 2 mn de la Rambla et du marché Boqueria, et de la cathédrale. Notre séjour à eu lieu en novembre et malgré une certaine fraicheur 10 jours de soleil.Pas de nuisances sonores à part la nuit du samedi et c'était tout à fait supportable.
Suite à un problème de coupure internet Jeff ( très sympa) est intervenu rapidement et en moins de 24h tout était redevenu opérationnel.
Petites suggestions pour l'appartement: un égouttoir pour la vaisselle et de quoi étendre le linge à sécher. Une petite notice aussi pour la climatisation. Le reste RAS.

Jeff was very welcoming when we arrived in Barcelona. He ensured everything in the apartment was ready for us and took us around it to make sure we knew where everything was. The decor was lovely and very individual. We loved it!

Just a short 3 night stay, cant think of anything negative to say about the apartment or it's location, for myself and wife it was perfect. Would go here again.

No problems, book the room, follow the instructions, minimal fuss and hassle. Met by a nice young lady who showed us around, that's it ! Couldn't have been simpler.

La localisation de ce logement est idéal, près de tout : marché, Place Catalogne pour les navettes, Les Rambals. Le logement est suffisamment en retrait de la Ramblas pour être silencieux. Nous avons adoré ce séjour. Je recommanderais ce logement à tous.

Nous avons passé un séjour culturel très agréable dans un appartement magnifiquement décoré, une âme d'artiste était là. De par sa situation géographique, nous avons pu visiter beaucoup de lieux à pied et avons apprécié les promenades dans les rues piétonnes.
Nous avons mangé des produits frais du marché de la Boqueria et avons juste regretté l'absence d'un blender pour déguster de bons jus de fruits frais faits maison.
Nous reviendrons dans cet appartement pour nos prochaines escapades.
Oui, le logement décrit était conforme aux photos et sa situation géographique correspondait à nos attentes.

Par heureux hasard, en 2 ans, je réserve chez le même propriétaire, un charmant petit appart. dans la même rue ! ! Idéalement situé à deux pas de la Rambla sans être bruyant, appart. coquet propre, climatisé (Aout) et ds immeuble fraichement rénové.
Beaucoup de goût là encore ds la déco... MERCI, nous avons passé un agréable séjour ! !
Les frustrés de Tripadvisor et consorts..... n'hésitez pas : ici c bien ! !

This is a great apartment and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona. Safe and secure main entrance door from the street, lift access (ideal after a long day walking!), great location with it only being a couple of minutes walk from the Boqueria and the same in the other direction to the local supermarket. It's beautifully decorated and is such a relief to arrive at after the worries of travelling. The kitchen is just what you need, basic, but enough equipment to cook up what you need. Shower room has good water pressure and the whole place was spotless on arrival. Lovely couple of balconies to drink on and watch the world go by in the evenings. The apartment is on a busy street during the day so can get pretty noisy, but the double glazed balcony doors soon put a damper on that. This place is a really funky pad in central Barcelona and a lovely suprise.

We loved the apartment and were reluctant to leave it, enjoying the art works, and general ambience of the place. Everything was a pleasure to use in the kitchen and bathroom and we especially loved the huge sofa. The position in the Barri Gotic was perfect and we loved the vitality of the streets and then to retreat to the peace and quiet of the apartment, with the French doors closed.
We were sorry to leave our friend the lady with the bees!

Het appartement is geweldig en ruim. Het ligt zo centraal dat je bijna alle bezienswaardigheden lopend kan afleggen (tenminste, als je de tijd hebt!).
Jeff is een prima vent die de tijd voor je neemt en alles goed uitlegt. Het appartement wordt goed schoon gemaakt en verder heb je alles wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf. Ook is het goed geïsoleerd en heb je totaal geen last van de herrie buiten. Tevens is het pand goed beveiligd. Wifi doet het ook. Tja, eigenlijk alles dik in orde!

Heel tevreden over de gang van zaken. Prettig en safe met de betaling en de snelle bevestiging. De ontvangst van Jeff was ook heel prettig. Bij een volgende gelegenheid zal ik zeker eerst bij Cocoon kijken (Rome bijvoorbeeld!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was right in the centre of all the action. We simply walked everywhere and got to know the area, the locals and really experience the culture. The apartment was well appointed and a colourful interior.
Most exciting was that as we got to know some of the local residents via the restaurants and shops, we had the added experience of attending concerts and shows in a variety go incredible venues.

Super sejour on est reste 4nuits avec une amie lappartement etait tel quon lattendait et encore mieux !! Il est tres beau tres bien decorer comme lont remarquer plusieurs personnes avant Jeff est vraiment adorable le chek in et out ce sont tres bien passé il est meme rester avec nous pour nous donner toutes les info t les bons endroits de barcelone apres le chek in. lappart est propre nous recommandons vivement cet appartement qui est tres bien situé, pour notre part le bruit ne nous a pas deranger ! Bon sejours a tous !

Barcelone est une ville superbe. Le logement est très bien situé, à quelques pas de la place de la cathédrale, non loin du métro, de la rambla, de l'excellent marché de la boqueria et d'un magasin carrefour pour faire les courses.
Jeff nous a très bien accueilli et il parle parfaitement le français.
En plus, le check in était prévu a 15h00 et celui-ci a pu être avancé au matin, juste après notre arrivé à Barcelone.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet appartement.

This is a charming little appartment hidden down a side street just off Las Ramblas and minutes from Playa Catalunya (which is where the airport bus leaves from). From here it's an easy walk into Born, to L'Exaimple and to attractions in El Raval. When we arrived, Jeff (the owner) was there to greet us and was very helpful in suggesting cafes for us to go to. The appartment quite basically equipped in terms of cooking but has everything you'd need for a short stay including good sound insulation that shuts out the noise from the street below. The only drawback was no where to put shampoo etc in the shower cabin

Das Apartment liegt mitten im Barri Gotic. Draußen pulsiert das Leben. Dank der relativ guten Isolierung kann man drinnen in Ruhe entspannen und nachts gut schlafen. Man fühlt sich sofort heimisch.
Wir haben jetzt zum zweiten Mal bei Cocoon gebucht und es hat alles, wie beim ersten Mal, problemlos und zuverlässig geklappt. Man kann Ihre Agentur nur weiterempfehlen.

Het lijkt alsof je in Barcelona woont. Het is ook lekker om de ruimte te hebben, een hotelkamer is vaak zo krap. Lekker om met een wijntje op je eigen balkon te zitten. Vooral dit appartement is qua locatie helemaal super, je kan alle kanten op en je zit tussen de winkels. 's Nachts is het daarom wel lekker rustig en overdag veel levendigheid.

Nous avons séjourné du 18 juin au 25 juin 2011. L'emplacement de l'appartement est execeptionnel. A pied du marché, de la Rambla, de la Plaça Catalunya et Reial, de Barcelonetta. C'est très bien isolé et on a pu très bien dormir. L'air climatisé fonctionnait très bien. La décoration de l'appartement est très spéciale et chaleureuse. C'était notre première expérience dans la location d'appartemenent et nous avons vraiment été satisfaits. Nous recommandons cet appartement chaudement. Hélène et Réal de Montréal.

L'appartement était beau, bien situé et a contribué à l'enchantement de notre semaine de vacances à Barcelone. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Jeff , le propriétaire, et ses conseils utiles sur la ville et les restaurants. Pour ceux et celles qui ont l'intention de cuisiner un peu, il ne manque que quelques ustensiles de cuisine (cuillères pour brasser,etc.). On ne peut toutefois pas parler de désagrément. Si je retourne à Barcelone dans un avenir pas trop lointain, ce sera définitivement mon premier choix.

This apartment was fantastic. Great location, just off las ramblas, but quiet enough at night once shops closed. Everything you needed was in the apartment making our stay very comfortable. Appartement trés bien situé pour visiter barcelone en grande partie à pieds. accueil trés agréable (Jeff). Réservation simple, logement conforme à la présentation et le choix semblait réel sur le site. pas de mauvaise surprise.

Ce qui nous a plus le plus concernant la location de l'appartement c'est le sentiment de se sentir vraiment chez soi dans une ville qui n'est pas la notre. On reprendra contact avec l'agence pour des autres vacances.
