We were told it was a five minute walk from Plaza Cataluyna, and in the heat and business of Las Ramblas we found it to be a lot longer, especially pulling heavy cases or if you were elderly. It is a 3rd floor apart and there is quite a narrow staircase, but also a small lift. The area, although directly off Las Ramblas, was quite quiet, with not many people around. The appartment itself was clean and tidy, with good facilities, and felt secure. I would recommend this apartment to a couple as it is in a good central location close to bus stops and the metro etc, but not really to a group of young women on their own as the street is very quiet.
