It couldn't have been better location wise. 5 minute walk to La Rambla, 10 minute walk to the beach and in the centre of the old quarter. The fuse blew any time we tried to use the kettle, so although there was a good selection of kitchen facilities available, we didn't use many of them as we were afraid of blowing the fuse. The man who welcomed us (didn't catch his name) was very friendly and helpful, showing us where we'd find various things ie. Supermarket, nightclubs. Although we walked pretty much everywhere, on the rare occasion we did take the metro, we found it to be very frequent and easy to get around, as well as reasonably priced tickets. So if you don't feel up to walking 8-12km a day as we did I would recommend finding a good metro map and using it! The apartment itself was more or less what we expected - central, clean, basic and inevitably smaller than the photos depict."

It is very close to the Rambla, the beach ( google the itinerary on foot to find the shortest way though), different metro stations, and so on. We got to the apartment before the lady who was supposed to meet us. However, we did not have to wait since the young man that keeps the bike rental store next door took us to our apartment; which was very nice."
