We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment for about 6 days. We traveled with a little child and arrived very early in the morning but were already able to check-in. The terrace is very sunny until 2 pm. After 9 pm there is no noise in the appartment at all so can have a good rest.

Valerie and her colleagues were very welcoming and friendly. The flat was comfortable and the outdoor space must be a real bonus in Spring and Summer!
However, from the photos we were expecting a slightly more modern flat and the building itself seemed quite old. We expected some information in the flat on things to do in Barcelona and including some local knowledge from the owner.
The guide to the flat and how everything worked was comprehensive, but there was nothing left in the flat on local shops/ supermarkets/ bars/ good places to eat breakfast or have tapas/ a map/ good places to shop/ where to get a takeaway or takeway menu. Obviously the tourist office would provide much of this but we would have appreciated some tourist information in the flat when we arrived, but Valerie was extremely helpful in emailing me some recommended tapas bars.

The apartment Sun Days is situated in a typical modernist building of the Eixample area (true, the facade could be cleaned up!) but the apartment has been fully restaured few years ago and I am happy to read you enjoyed it (yes, the terrace is a real plus in the warm season ;-). A few things we'd have liked to have in the apartment were a tea towel for drying dishes, a few more cooking utensils (such as a wooden spoon) and some information about where to put out rubbish and recycling! Otherwise, we really enjoyed the apartment.
