Summertime is een ZALIGE accommodatie om Barcelona te ontdekken Je hebt niet alleen een zalig appartement in een leuke buurt, maar ook een supergastvrouw die je met raad en tips helpt.
Leuke wijk met op wandelafstand leuke restaurantjes, maar ook achter de hoek verschillende supermarkten en markten.
Via de metro zijn alle bezienswaardigheden vlot bereikbaar.

Soggiorno presso l'appartamento SUMMERTIME davvero eccezionale! La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e prodiga di informazioni utilissime. L acasa è semplicemnete stupenda dotata di ogni confort e in un quartiere davvero tranquillo. Il gardino molto curato ci ha permesso di godere del clima anche la sera.
Camere spaziose, bagni funzionali e pulizia ottima. Lo consiglierò senz'altro e spero tanto di poterci tornare!

Warm welkom door maite
zeer compleet modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien.
prachtige tuin/terras. Alleen veel muggen.

we waren met vier volwassenen en voelde ons direct thuis.
In de buurt voel je je veilig.
volop winkeltjes, barretjes, waar de locals vertoeven.
Voor 2 biertjes en 2 glazen cava 5 Euro is wel heel prettig.
Alle leuke plaza's en straatjes op loopafstand.
Wij gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Wij logeerden met 3 koppels in een heel mooi appartement. 2 slaapkamers heel ruim en 1 kleinere slaapkamer. Een goed uitgeruste keuken en een klein maar heel gezellig terrasje.
Appartement is gelegen op een kleine 10 minuutjes stappen van een metrostation.
Het welkom door de eigenares was heel hartelijk. Ze gaf heel graag uitleg en tips over de omgeving. Op de dag van vertrek kan je nog de hele namiddag blijven.

Meravigliosa esperienza bella la città e persone cordiali e socievoli. Appartement très bien situé avec station de métro proche, supermarché et marché de qualité.
Ligne de bus 92 à 2 minutes qui permet d'aller aussi bien au parc Guéll qu'à la mer.
Propriétaire très sympa donnant beaucoup d'information.
Havre de paix dans une ville qui bouge beaucoup.
À recommander sans restriction
J'ai également apprécié d'avoir eu quelqu'un qui parlait français lors d'un appel téléphonique

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours à Barcelone avec nos 3 enfants du 12 au 21 août. Le logement est parfaitement équipé, il ne manque rien ! L'accueil a été très chaleureux, nous avons eu un plan du quartier avec toutes les informations utiles et pratiques pour notre séjour !
Ne manquez pas le restaurant "El Glop" dans le quartier de Gracia, excellent !!

This was a really lovely, colourful apartment in an old part of the city. I travelled to Barcelona by car with my husband and three teenage children, and the accommodation was perfect for us. There were three bedrooms, each accommodating two people, and an annex room with two camp beds - it would make a great base for up to eight people. It was very clean, the bedding provided was crisp and white, with spare blankets available should it get cool at night. The two bathrooms each had a shower (no baths though) and these too were clean and tidy. At times, the showers were a bit slow to drain, but this is because the water is recycled through a special unit to be used in the garden area, and this wasn't really a problem. There is air conditioning, which was great to come back to after a day in the heat of the city, and a well equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a small shaded patio leading out from the kitchen where you can sit on an evening. We were met on arrival by the owner Maite, who helped us orientate ourselves with the city. She had also organised parking for our car for the week at a secure car park about 50 meters from the apartment (cost 70 euros for the week). There were a couple of nice touches - free wifi, which the kids thought was great, and a large TV with video player (we had taken DVDs for evening entertainment, which worked well). The apartment is in Gracia, an old part of Barcelona, with lots of restaurants nearby, plus supermarkets and local shops. It is about 15 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia, and Park Guill. For other sites, there are Metro stops nearby. A good way to travel is to buy a ten Metro ticket pass from the local tabacconist (about 50 meters away from the appartment) as each journey then works out at about 1 euro, compared to over 2 euros per journey when bought individually. Five of us used one pass (you just keep putting it through the entry gate) which worked really well. Things to look out for....the light and fountain display at the Catalan Art Gallery and Museum is brilliant - from about 8.30pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and Park Guill is a lovely place to spend Sundays. Advanced booking is recommended for Park Guill's central section where the Gaudi monuments can be found, and also online advanced booking for the Sagrada Familia is worthwhile to avoid long queues.

Die Besitzerin hat uns sehr nett empfangen, Tips was die Umgebung, Metro, Restaurants, Bars angeht gegeben.
Die Lage ist schön! Der Stadtteil ist eher ruhig, hat aber schöne Bars und Restaurants, gute Metroanbindung, Möglichkeiten um Lebensmittel zu kaufen gleich in der Nähe.

Summertime is een absolute aanrader. Zeer leuk appartement met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. De ligging is vrij rustig; iets buiten het (drukke) centrum, maar zeer goed bereikbaar met metro en op wandelafstand van de fijne wijk Gracia.

Maite our hostess was really welcoming and friendly.She provided some useful information, maps and tips for eating out with the locals.The apartment is lovely and very tastefully decorated.There were only 2 of us so we had a lot of room and it would still have been comfortable for 6 or so.THe apartment is located in a quiet area and close to a metro stop so we had no problems getting around on the modern metro system.Highly recommended!

il y a un jardin et c'est très appréciable.
il est un peu cher
le seul bémol : les douches des 2 salles de bain évacuées mal, et une sentait l'humidité.

We went there a group of 8 women celebrating our grandmothers (and mothers) 80 year old birthday party. On our way to the airport in Iceland one other member of the family decided to join us, as a surprise. We had already filled the apartment so we were very stressed to be able to figure out what to do about our extra member. Cocoon and especially Maite the apartments owner were just fantastic about it, we simply paid an extra fee and everything was ready on our arrival! It was great! Had a fantastic time in Barcelona and the neighborhood is charming.. a bit far for those who mainly want to stay in the center, but for us it was fine, close to a market to shop fresh breakfast every morning, and fairly close to a metro station.

Most of all the patio was superb and we spent most of our time there in the mornings and evenings. plus we can't stress it enough how helpful and nice Maite was to us! thank you very much for a fantastic week- we had a blast!

Nos encantó el apartamento. Está muy bien puesto. El barrio no es super céntrico, pero tiene mucho encanto. El jardincillo al principio nos dio un poco de bajón que fuera compartido, pero luego nos dimos cuenta de que casi no se notaba. En fin, que muy recomendable. Y Mayte muy maja.

We would come again though not quite central. The Acommodtion photos gave the wrong impression of the garden facilities we thought that was the entrance of the apartment. Very satisfied by the agency.

the apartment SUMMERTIME entrance is from the street but it offers a beautiful terrace in the backyard.

It is located in Gracia, an upcoming area with many little bars, restaurants & sunny terrace. You are right, it is not the historical center but very well connected and this neighborhood is loved by locals and tourists. It is also walking distance to the Park Guell, one of Gaudi's jewel.

We were made to feel very welcome in this well-decorated large apartment in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The Gracia area which offers lots of restaurants and funky shops is a 10 mins walk away. Taxis are plentiful and most areas one would want to visit were 10-15 mins away by car. The apartment was extremeley clean on arrival.

Prima en ruim appartement in een rustige wijk van Barcelona. De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en is bereid een en ander voor je uit te zoeken. Het enige wat een nadeel kan zijn is dat het vrij hoog ligt. (Wij hadden fietsen gehuurd voor een week en na een intensieve dag is het een aardige klim)

We really loved the apartment, it was close to Park Guell & you could even walk to Sagrada Familia. We liked being able to make our own breakfast, getting to know the neighborhood shops plus we felt safe and comfortable. We preferred being away from the excitement of La Ramblas & in a nice neighborhood. I allowed my teen sons to go out some nights on their own in the Gracia Neighborhood as it seemed so safe. Had we stayed near the Ramblas, I don't think I'd have been ok letting them go to bars late at night without an adult. It is a bit of a walk to the metro, but my family are good walkers and we enjoyed the exercise after eating so much delicious Jamon every day.

We all enjoyed the apartment very much. It is very nice to stay in one apartment when dtravel many ladies together.
But we did not like the distance to the city-center.
We liked to stay near the city-center, because we dont want to spend our time in taxi/metro/bus.

une seule petite critique dommage que les wc soient intégrés aux salles de bain !!
à part cela appartement très agréable et la terrasse c'est vraiment le top !!
Cet appartement a été décoré avec tout le design que nous avons apprécié.

We loved the neighbourhood and the apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We left some mugs behind as we like big cups of tea and coffee in the morning.

The whole stay in barcelona was fantastic, the appartment was perfectly to our taste and was represented well with the photos on the site. The check in and care during our say was brilliant. The decor was perfectly to our taste, the owners were very generous and friendly and it was a perfect example of a more traditional barca. We shall be back again : )
