Great apartment! Spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated, situated in a beautiful building. Friendly welcome by owner with good tips for sightseeing. Closely located to metro, short walking distance to City Centre. Busy area, so at the front of the apartment some traffic noise. Two nice and comfortable sitting areas and good kitchen and 3 nice bed rooms. Stayed with a child of 4 and grand-mother, they were also very happy with the apartment. Elevator is great after a long walking day. For a next stay we would request this apartment again!
Yes, this is the 3rd time we have booked through Cocoon and all experiences with Cocoon have been good.

The apartment is situated in a very good place.

One of the rooms has not fresh air, have a blind window (can not be opened)

The apartment is very well maintained with beautiful furnishings and a comfortable feel. The location is perfect, bars and cafe at the doorstep, supermarket a few blocks away, tube station around the corner with very good connections and only 10 minutes walk to las Ramblas. The owner was very welcoming, gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and places of interest and resolved an issue with speed and courtesy. Highly recommended.

Accommodation in ideal location, within walking distance of Las Rambles. Plenty of space in apartment - we were a couple staying with our two mothers away for the New Year.overall an excellent experience and would recommend.

My friends and I stayed at Damon's apartment for 5 days and 4 nights. When we first arrived, Damon greeted us and gave us a tour of the apartment, showed us important attractions on a map, and pointed out nearby supermarkets and bus/metro stops. The apartment matched the photos exactly, and it was neat and clean. With three bedrooms and two sitting areas, it was very spacious for the four of us. It was also a convenient location as it was right outside major public transportation stops and was only a short walk to Las Ramblas. Damon was a great host and was always available to help. One night, his wife even came up to show us how to operate the laundry machine. And on our last night, Damon personally came to say goodbye. Damon and his apartment were everything that we hoped for when we rented the apartment, and it would definitely be our choice again when we return to Barcelona. Thanks Cocoon Barcelona and Damon!

The agency was helpful in trying to reach Damon for us when we arrived at the airport. Booking process was easy, and the confirmation documents were very detailed. A job well done!

Damon was a great host and was kind enough to let us put our bags in his apartment until check-in time. His wife, Susanna, was just as gracious. He showed us all kinds of things to do during our stay and went over it all on his map, which was great. Any problems with the WiFi were immediately rectified. The apartment has a wonderful charm with lots of space. Liked his CD collection. Something for everyone. Front bedroom a bit noisy, but that's because the streets are constantly moving with traffic. Great location and we walked to everywhere we wanted to go. Would I recommend this to someone else - YES! Thanks, Graham, and thanks for calling about the cell phone we forgot so soon after we left.

Damon Bell is a fabolous host. We travelled with 5 adults and 2 kids (2 and 4 years old). The appartment was verry complete and nice! Damon took the time to tell us all the highlights /information/suggestions etc of Barcelona. We've asked him for a chain to lock the balcony doors (extra safety for the kids) and a plastic tableclothes to protect the table. He arranged it
immediately. The locatian is perfect; near restaurants, supermarket, busstop, metro, etc.

We LOVED our stay in stay in Barcelona - Damon, our host was SO WELCOMING and helpful in going thru a map with us, telling us the best places to see and where to eat. He had fresh juice/water in the fridge for us (most welcome!) and his home was beautiful and authentic - his personal touch providing some lovely CD's for us was fantastic - we LOVED his home and on one occasion we COMPLETELY overloaded his electricity as we were cooking on each ring of the cooker, showering, hairdrying, ipods, phone charging, tv, heaters, lights, etc. etc. and when we rang him at 10.30 pm to assist us (as the electricity cut out very briefly due to our own fault) he was at our door withing minutes to assure us that all was ok - he was very friendly and we would HIGHLY recommend his lovely home and his very approachable manner to all our work colleagues, family and friends in Ireland - we will most definitely return to Barcelona and found the location of this apartment ideal to maximising our time in the city - great restaurants also in the location

This was a really marvellous apartment. Very spacious for the 5 of us. It was very close to everything. Right next to a Metro station, a nice walk to Las Ramblas and the Old Town, a number of excellent tapas and sangria bars just downstairs. We had such a great time. It was lovely staying in an apartment, and I am never going to B&B or hotel again! I wish we could go again!

Amazing apartment, very quaint and nicely decorated. It has everything, including a washing machine (but no oven??). It was like living at home.
The owner Damon was amazing. He spoke English and Spanish and knows Barcelona very well. He brings out "his city map" and tells you everything you need to know. But the location is very central, of course is a bit noisy at night if you leave the windows open, but nice place, layout and very comfy.

The flat was wonderfully cozy and the landlord a star. Top marks and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a home away from home for a few days in Barcelona.

It was like home from home, all your comforts around you but with the added bonus of being abroad. All of us being together was great as well. The apartment was lovely very homely and everything you needed. Damon was an excellent host, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Me and my friends were really happy with the appartment. It was in a perfect location, had a really nice landlord (Damon Bell) and was really clean and decorated well. Would definately stay here any other time I visit barcelona. Prefered it to a hotel and it was much cheaper.
The fact that me and my friends got to sit in the living room together rather than visit each others rooms in a hotel, more private, was cheaper than other hotels so central.
