Poublenou was as always a great neighbourhood to stay in, and this great apartement was in the sweet spot of it. Walking distance to the beach, Rambla Poublenou, the food market and everything. Equipped with everything we needed to have a great stay and cook our own dinners, when we wanted to. A great supermarket nearby too.

TIP: The V23 bus line has a stop just around the corner, and ends near a great park in the hills 45 minutes away, with an exciting garden labyrinth and beautiful surroundings. A fine alternative to Park Guell, and it passes several suburbs which I guess used to be be villages of their own, which I intend to check out during future stays. Because I will be back!
I recommend this accomodation for:

Apartment was just what we needed, all the basics, perfect if you plan on spending the majority of the holiday out exploring the city or on the beach.

The process was fine so we had a relaxing holiday and no problems.

Just two small comments about the apartment - The shower fitting was not good. There was no wall fitting for the shower so this had to be held in your hand, which was not satisfactory. An even smaller point - the wardrobe in the larger bedroom was assembled badly so some of the drawers and doors tended to stick. But generally we were happy with the apartment and the service we received was excellent and very friendly and welcoming.

The check in and check out procedure was smooth and uncomplicated. The appartment offered an "okay"-standard. Next time we will look for a more comfortable accommodation.
One has the opportunity to cook and organise everything much better than from a hotel room

Apartment was clean and had all the essentials - big plus to the management company who sent a very friendly man (Marco) to meet us just 30 mins after we landed in Barcelona. Shower head bracket was broken which was a bit of a pain and we couldn't figure out how to work the microwave or the a/c - not sure if they worked, we didn't bother phoning for advice and managed without. The location is just three blocks from the beach, about 5-10mins on foot - but about 15 mins to the main Vila Olimpica area where there are most restaurants etc. Fine for adults but if bringing kids consider pushchairs for anybody with little legs!! There are shops for groceries etc. in the immediate area and it's only 10 mins walking to the tube station which takes you straight to the city centre. Overall a good apartment; could do with a little TLC and for us a little bit further out than we would want to be next time - but we had a great time and would certainly recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced pad in the city.

The showerhead was broken and the toaster didn't work. When we called, they fixed it right away. Very good!
The aircondition was in the livingroom, so the 2 bedrooms who was conected to the livingroom had a good temperatur. The bedroom who was in the other end of the appartment was very hot at night, even when the bedroom door was open. Quite a lot off trafikk noise, but I suppose it is like that in Barcelona.
The furniture was described as new, but that could not be true... All right, but not new.
It was also very closed to the beach and to Rambla Poblenou with lots off resturants.

Travelling three generations together it made it possible for all of us to come together and really enjoying our holiday together. Close to the beach, beachwalk and with the city/cultural events two metrostops away, it was a complete holiday.
