The accommodation was great and really well placed as it was a 5 min walk to La Rambla and 10 mins to the beach. Maria was lovely and very helpful. We would definitely go back and stay in this property when we next visit Barcelona,

The couch was very uncomfortable. After long days of exploring the beautiful city a couch you can relax in is a must.

A side from the couch the place was great. The apartment is in the heart of a wonderful area, walking distance to most sights.
There was a bar/coffee shop just around the corner that made amazing coffee. The Local transit was just a short walk away.
Our experience booking and checking in was great.

My husband and I recently stayed at this apartment. The location is great and central with easy access to the beach, restaurants, markets and attractions. The apartment itself is a little dated but it was cute and cosy. Sheets and towels needs refreshing but it was okay for a short stay. Great experience with booking - emails correspondence were easy and response were quick.

We loved Barcelona and this location is excellent. If we were to return we would be very happy to stay at this apartment again.
We loved the little balcony opening on to the street which gave lovely breezes and nice atmosphere to the whole apartment.

A few things about the apartment could be done better, in comparison with others in this price category where we have stayed. The towels are small and cheap. The shower is pretty leaky (most of the water goes down the hose rather than out of the nozzle). The bedroom is quite quiet, though, considering the location of the apartment, and the neighborhood is great. Our greeter was wonderful, too.

Everything was easy and reliable. Very professionally done.

We generally enjoyed our stay. I was expecting a slightly nicer bedroom, as the sheets looked very worn and old, and the bedding was not very nice. The hot water in the shower was also not very consistent. Otherwise, the place was clean and in an excellent location.

Simply great. We were welcomed on time even though we arrived earlier. The apartment is located in a charming little street, and at night it is quite and pleasant. Hot water, shower, kitchen, everything was just great. MANY thanks.

It was excellent 6 days in Barcelona, really excellent. Nice English-speaking lady who met us, modern elevator, cute and ideally clean apartment (btw looking exactly like in the photos) with kitchen (it's great to have a kitchen, especially when you are travelling with children), bedroom with powerful air-conditioner, nice friendly neighbors (I mean local people living on the same wonderful street). Some problems with hot water were caused by city system failure.
Especially need to mention perfect location - gothic-style street in the heart of the old city, near the port and Barcelonetta beach, 5 minute walk to La Rambla, other shopping places and the stops of both touristic buses.
In short - we'd like to stay there more. And we'll definitely book the same place for the Summer 2013.

The location was great--in the old city and walking distance to the beach. The accomodations were fine as well and the owners very responsive. We enjoyed shopping in the market and small bakeries and then being able to eat some meals in the apartment. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Comfortable place in the centre of the Gothic part as our fixed basis of visiting Barcelona during four days. For sure renting an appartment generates more flexibility than a hotel room.

The apartment was great - good size and facilities, air conditioning working well, excellent position (close to absolutely everything) - There was everything that you needed. Only problem was the shower, where the water took a very long time to drain - a few cms deep within minutes, must wait for the next person to be able to have a shower. Otherwise, perfect!

Couldn't have asked for a more ideal location. The apartment was spacious and quite serviceable.
Our stay in this apartment made the trip to Barcelona more affordable than staying in a hotel, especially given the central location.
