Great location, everything that we needed was in the neighbourhood. The apartment was ok, but not very clean and a bit disappointing compared to our expectations build on the pictures from the websites.

The apartment met our expectations. It is large and bright with a good terrace. Some of the equipment needs updating or fixing but overall it was comfortable and quiet, affording a good night's sleep - essential for a good relaxing holiday !

Didn't know about a 24/7 hotline. There should have been a binder book in the apartment with all the details of this, wifi, local groceries, other amenities etc. we felt rather out on our own.
It was good except because of the extreme heat the master bedroom was VERY HOT and the ac in the living room did not cool it I think you should disclose that the ac is only in the living room and NOT the 2 bedrooms. We asked John's assistant for a fan which she brought from her home and that did help the master bedroom somewhat to pull in the ac air.

John is just wonderful - friendly, efficient and fair. Truly appreciated the mid stay cleaning - we stayed for two weeks.
The booking process is excellent.
The apartment view is brilliant - the terrace makes the place.
The main bedroom is great with a wonderful view. However, the smaller bedroom gets very hot and kids had to sleep in the living room.
The AC is a bit old and leaks
The furniture is really old.
The location is great - near shops, near the Born district, and 18 minute walk to the beach.
The building manager is wonderful, very kind and make us feel welcome.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

The area could not be better really, very quiet but extremely close to the centre, in a nice part of town. The apartment itself is very quiet, which seeing as we were only there for 3 nights, was hugely important.

The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished (especially living room) and everything works well. The terrace is very good, opposite an amazing old courthouse with good views across town.

John is extremely helpful and friendly.

I would definitely come back to stay here if I was in Barcelona again.

We felt safe in the neighborhood. There were a couple of small restaurants in the block that opened early for coffees. It was extremely quiet, both inside and outside, on the terrace. There was a door person during the stay who was very sweet, though we didn't speak the language. We liked the full size refrigerator, though didn't use it to capacity, and appreciated the washer/dryer. We also liked the fact that there was lots of room, unlike a hotel.
