The flat is a little dated perhaps, quite 1970's, but it adds to the character. The storage and space is fantastic. My only criticism would be the second bedroom which was small and looked at a wall. If you were two couples that would be a short straw coz the main bedroom was amazing. This didn't bother us as we were only 2 people.
The terrace is stunning, it really makes the apartment.
Finally, Valentina, who checks you in, is brilliant. Beyond helpful. We loved her.
I'd recommend this apartment to a couple or a family with older children ( the terrace might be hairy for tiny tots)

We arrived in Barcelona very early Sunday morning and it would have been nice to have somewhere to store our luggage rather than finding a luggage locker in a different part of the city when we were so jet lagged. Also, there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so we had to buy more ourselves. Two sets of bath towels for each person would have been great also. Our sliding glass door to the terrace would not lock so we used a broom handle to wedge in the track so we felt safer, I reported this to staff so hopefully it is fixed by now. These are very minor things, but since you asked... Otherwise it was a fabulous trip and thanks so much for your hospitality.
We offer lockers addresses in the city in case the arrival time is very early and the apartment is occupied that morning.

Even though I would not recommend Barcelona as a destination for relaxing. This appartment with it's spacious outdoor terrace made our stay survivable.

The apartment was well situated in a quiet area that is within walking distance to many attractions. The only negative is that the beds are too firm and require new pillows.

It was good except because of the extreme heat the master bedroom was VERY HOT and the ac in the living room did not cool it I think you should disclose that the ac is only in the living room and NOT the 2 bedrooms. We asked John's assistant for a fan which she brought from her home and that did help the master bedroom somewhat to pull in the ac air.

The booking process is excellent.
The apartment view is brilliant - the terrace makes the place.
The main bedroom is great with a wonderful view. However, the smaller bedroom gets very hot and kids had to sleep in the living room.
The AC is a bit old and leaks
The furniture is really old.
The location is great - near shops, near the Born district, and 18 minute walk to the beach.
The building manager is wonderful, very kind and make us feel welcome.

The area could not be better really, very quiet but extremely close to the centre, in a nice part of town. The apartment itself is very quiet, which seeing as we were only there for 3 nights, was hugely important.
The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished (especially living room) and everything works well. The terrace is very good, opposite an amazing old courthouse with good views across town.
John is extremely helpful and friendly.
I would definitely come back to stay here if I was in Barcelona again.
