She met us and was in rush just to collect the money and to get out.
I tried explain she over charged me by 10 euros and could not get her to agree
I wish could have spoken Spanish
It would have being nice for her to explain the facility
Also the stairs took our breath away dragging suitcases up
No help from her either
Many items needed to be repaired...towel rails etc
We only by chance found the exta sheets, beach towels ,vacuum cleaner,under the bed by accident...after our 6 day.
There was no kettle to boil water
Sheets were pretty old we'll .
No were to hang wash close.
We told she would meet us back on checkout
She never pitched and I had to phone
Waiting I discovered that the cleaner was to meet us.
This was 30 minutes later
I got to say that cocoon staff were more than helpful when I booked the accommodation
I requested 2 single beds and was only informed by Victoria this was not possible when we arrived
Barcelona is wonderfully accepted
I found people as equal wonderful
I will return again with my family
At my age I don't think I could do 5 flights of narrow stairs.
I will recommend cocoon to everyone for this kind of booking.
It's just needs more from Victoria and explaining the stairs.
I could handle the noise from the trucks early as this is a city.

Also it was inconvenient that payment had to be done in cash not with credit card.
I also put average for furnishing because even though the room was tastefully decorated, the mattress was very bad
If you had contacted us before booking we would have offered the opportunity to pay the full amount by bank transfer, as we do in the case of private owners who do not have the terminal for payments with credit card. Or the option to pay by credit card at our office upon arrival in Barcelona.
Nevertheless, we are happy that you liked the apartment and its ideal location.

Roof terrace is very nice especially in the evening. So many cute restaurants & bars within a few minutes walk. Stair case is extremely thin & steep so perhaps not one for elderly or disabled. Would recommend to everyone else.
We are happy to know that the apartment and its location met your expectations. We've contacted the owner, and she'll take better care of towels and sheets and will replace those that need it.

- Although the official check in time is early afternoon, Victoria was able to meet with us earlier to allow us to settle in and begin our vacation.
- The location of the apartment was ideal; 5-10 minute walk to the beach, El Born neighbourhood and Las Ramblas.
- The accommodations match the site description perfectly and the rooftop terrace is definitely a plus.
- Only negatives to mention are the steep flights of stairs (although this is pretty standard in Barcelona) and the neighbourhood does seem to get a bit of traffic in the morning (earplugs came in handy a day or two).
The website is very straight forward and easy to navigate.

Noisy area, so be aware if you are having trouble with noise when sleeping. I wear ear plugs, so it didn't disturb me.
