Nice quiet apartment next to Rambla. The stairs up to third floor were quite narrow and hard to climb with all the luggage but we made it! The living room was small and wouldn't really be big enough for 6 adults. What we were missing was the kitchen towels and clothespins, otherwise everything else was ok.

The "neighbourhood" was essentially La Rambla, so it was always alive and fun to be near. We chose the apartment because it had an extensive kitchen and was very close to the Boqueria market, so we were able to buy beautiful, fresh seafood and cook it for ourselves at a tiny fraction of the restaurant cost ... not to mention living like a local for a few days !!!
The apartment was very spacious, although it lacked natural light due to the high-rise surroundings. Also the small street leading off La Rambla is somewhat "seedy", but first impressions can be deceptive and it is actually very safe.

The place was noisy. It is close to the ramblas and the men come to the street to urinate. The street smelled.

We loved the freedom to live like a local and all amenities on doorstep. Handy for supermarkets for self catering, and a very short walk to the Ramblas.

Was a little noisy at night (12-3am) at front of building, but very handy for the centre of town, and facilities in flat very good. Check in and out fine.

The accomodations were good - no complaints other than a lack of a phone for local use. It would have been so handy when we needed to communicate with the lost luggage department (local call) at the Barcelona airportThe location was fantastic and the accomodation was spacious. Nice also to have a small kitchen/fridge..

Location was ideal. Plus it gave us the freedom to either eat in or out. Right in the heart of the Ramblas, so everything was literally 2 mins away.
Overall service was top drawer. No compaints.

It was just great to be able to rest sometimes and eat at "home" with 4 kids!!!!
The flat was perfectly located to visit Barcelona without taking all the time the subway.
