the place was a little bit dark, the photos are not showing this properly. at night it was noisy from the resturant down at the street. maybe it's costum in Barcelona's apt. but there are no basics food groceries like: coffe, suger, salt, milk... the owner was lovely and always willing to help

Great location. 2 min walk from the Ramblas.

The exterior of the building is not great, and we were a bit worried when we first arrived, but as soon as you step into the apartment the worries disappear!
One concern was that the apartment opposite was only separated by sliding doors. We had quite noisy neighbours at the time of our stay and you could hear the noise. This was the only negative about our stay - the rest was great.
We would definitely stay here again if we revisited Barcelona.

Cute appartment and for the most part satisfactory. Air conditioning was very noisy so had to switch off at night. Shower poorly designed and too small. Water leeked out through gap in door, flooding bathroom floor (not a major) Very comfortable seating and bed. Fantastic location close to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya. We spent a very pleasant week here.Jean-Claude was charming and helpful. Would stay here again.

The apartment was perfect for me my husband and 1 year old. Very clean and in a perfect location central to everything yet very quiet. Jean-Claude was lovely and came and met us where the taxi dropped us off. Would definitely stay here next time we are in Barcelona.

Bit of panic when we couldn't reach Jean-Claude right away after our arrival, but Cocoon was very helpful and things got solved quickly. Apartment is not very big, but the location and facilities make up for it. Super location !! Overall a 2nd fantastic stay in a Cocoon apartment, we're already looking at the Cocoon apartments in Rome !!

Jean Claude was superb. He could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our time. The apartment is in an ideal location - really hard to beat. The quality of the furnishings needs to be improved, but he explained they are about to upgrade the furnishings.

We really loved our stay in this apartment. Jean Claude gave us a fantastic welcome and introduction to the apartment, including some handy tips for Barcelona.

The only drawback was the airconditioner water pump which was quite loud during the night (activated about every half an hour). We got used to it after a few nights though in the summer heat, it is necessary to have the air con on for sleeping so perhaps this could be looked at.
Having a kitchen and washing machine of our own for a few days was a real treat. The location was great too.

We loved the flat and Jean Claude was a lovely host!
The location was excellent 5 min walking distance from la Cathedral and La Ramble , shops, great restaurants and nice to walk at night, just at the heart of things but not noise.

Very nice apartment to stay in the very center of the city. Jean Claude is cool guy and very undestanding (we had the flight back home in the evening and he let us use the apartment until we left in the late afternoon). Thanks, Jean Claude.
