The apartment was fantastic. Lovely building in a brilliant location. The only small niggle I have is the stairs. The metal steps are incredibly painful on your feet if you're not wearing shoes. As there are no toilets downstairs, that invariably means getting up in the night and wrecking your bare feet on the stairs. The appt would get 10/10 if something could be done about that.

The agency was super helpful. Will be definitely using them again.

The location of the appartment is excellent with the city centre, the harbour, and public transportation in walking distance. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood.
There where only 2 minor (really minor) down sides to the appartment:
- there is almost no natural daylight in the appartment
- we missed a toilet in the basement

Tha agency lived fully up to our expectations, so I would have no issue using Cocoon again.

As the title suggests the location of the apartment is unbeatable. So central to everything. Do not be put off by the graffiti on the apartment's main door. This seems to be a problem for the whole of Barcelona! The apartment is extremely spacious and was plenty big for the 5 people in our party. Downsides (which have already been mentioned in reviews) is the lack of daylight, there isn't any at all so whilst this is fine for a weekend any longer it becomes a problem in particular if you are want to apply makeup! All the toilets (2) are on ground level however most of the bedrooms are downstairs via a metal staircase this is slightly irritating. Cleanliness is good however the bathrooms could do with a revamp and this is the only area I would say cleanliness could be better.

All this aside it is a very nice apartment and perfect for a group of adults (it's not child friendly) and I would definitely book again if staying in Barcelona.

Accommodations were great. Apartment was very spacious, modern design. More then enough room for 6 people. Kitchen included basic necessities for cooking as well as kitchen supplies. We all enjoyed our stay here. Good location -walking distance to las ramblas and beach area.

It was great. Lots of room. We had 5 people in our party but you could have 8 comfortably. Big kitchen. Nice living room. Two issues. No bathroom on bottom floor where 6 people can sleep. Only 2 sleep on main floor and that is where both bathrooms were. There were two room air conditioners that had to run constantly in order to keep the apartment from being hot. It was still warm and the air conditioners made a bit of noise.

The accommodation was lovely - the only few complaints I would have is the 'darkness'and no natural daylight - no toilets down in the basements where the bedrooms were!you definitely need shoes/slippers climbing up the steel stairwell in the early hours of the morning to the loo!

The apartment was a great mix of old world (gothis lookig exposed brickwork) and modern (Flat screen TV - great kitchen/batroom etc.) Great apartment.

The location is very good in that you are only a few minutes stroll from La Rambla and the marina and port area. Access to other areas very easy via metro/taxi etc. This was a family holiday and we would have needed 3 hotel rooms because of the age of my kids. This would have been very impersonal and difficult when returning from a day out when we wanted to chill out and relax together. It would also have been expensive in that we could have food, drinks etc in apartment if we wanted.

Gottico Duplex 1 exceeded our expectations.
We rented a different apartment from a different agency last year and found that accommodation to be much shabbier than the photos represented and we were concerned that this might be the case with Gottico Duplex 1.
Thankfully this was not the case.
Gottico Duplex 1 was even nicer than the photos showed. The furniture was clean, comfortable and attractive.
The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and very nice. We appreciated them being changed midweek. The kitchen was beautifully appointed. We have rented many condos and this kitchen was equipped better than any other. The appliances worked perfectly. The glassware was ample for 5 people (champagne flutes, wine glasses and tumblers). A Christmas table cloth with napkins for 10 was included (freshly laundered and ironed). I was very impressed.
The location was terrific and the apartment was quiet. We were very comfortable.
