Paella

Barcelona is a city prominent for its Modernism style and sundrenched beaches and Gaudi creations, however the Catalan capital also has some of the finest gastronomy to offer. Paella isn’t really a specialty in the Cataluña region but can be found in Barcelona where the city’s restaurants have modified recipes to suit the residents and visitors. There are plenty of tourist traps where the food is passable but also forgettable, but if you really want a good dish then check out the more ‘typical’ restaurants where you can find a really good paella. For affordable holiday apartments Barcelona that are fully furnished and equipped, and located in the center of the city, then book online where the choices are numerous and all the information can be found on one website. Originally from the Valencia province, Paella actually translates into ‘frying pan’ and today is definitely one of the most well-liked dishes in Spanish cuisine. Visit Spain and learn to cook the regional Paella and several other distinctive Catalan specialties from a top chef!
