More than 250 groups will be acting from today until Sunday at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
As 34% of the visitors are coming from foreign countries like England, Italy and France – a great party atmosphere in the whole city is guaranteed for the whole weekend.

The popular festival for independent music is back in town for the 11th time and many musical legends have been acting here in the past. This year the big names of the festival will be Wilco, Franz Fernidand, Björk, The Cure, Yo la tengo, Justice Live, Yann Tiersen ….
The main stage of the event is located in the Parc de Forum, directly at the sea – so its a really beautiful surrounding to enjoy a great open air festival in sunny Spain.
The Forum is located outside the city centre in the Diagonal Mar area, but can be easily reached by metro or bus in a short time.
A day ticket costs 70 € – and as the concerts start during the day and go on all night long, its defenitely worth the money.

If you got a festival pass you can also attend the traditional closing party in the two rooms of the Apolo.
The confirmed artists are Black Lips and Kings Of Convenience, who will play songs that they don’t usually play and a Dj session by Erlend Øye as “Kings of Convenience dj’s”.
