Very good fresh oysters in this restaurant located in a very cosy little square in the upper part town of Barcelona, Sarria.
They also serve on their terrace on the very nice square San Vicens. You can also order typical french dishes ( also for take away) . Fish soup, cassoulet, duck …
Good all wheat bread and butter served with the oysters.
The oyster culture started in the Ebro delta, 250 km south of Barcelona. The Japanese oyster Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg, 1793) in the bays of the Ebro Delta, and the European oyster Ostrea edulis L., 1758 in Santa Pola (Alicante). But most of the oysters come from the North of Spain or from France.
