On the 29th of June the 10th Edition of the open air film festival at the Montjuic castle starts. On Friday, Monday and Wednesday evening till the 8th of August you can enjoy Barcelona´s nice summer evenings together with your friends in the open air.
More than one month of the best movies of all times at Sala Montjuic. The movies are in original version with Spanish subtitles and will be preceded with short movies and music concerts.
And of course not to forget about the famous Sala Montjuic picnic! So fill your picnic basket with delicious Spanish tapas and refreshments and bring your picnic cloth to the Montjuic mountain during your stay in one of our apartments in Barcelona.
If you don´t want to sit on the ground and prefer to sit a bit more comfortable you can rent a beach chair for €3,-. Be on time as there are not enough chairs for everybody!
The entrance cost €5,- and can be bought directly at Sala Montjuic or online in advance.
You can reach the Montjuic Castle with free buses from Plaza Espanya from 8:30pm. The buses return once the movie is finished.
Tip: Bring a light jacket as later in the evening it can be a bit chilly in the mountain.
