The Gaig restaurant was founded in 1869. Carles Gaig is the fourth generation in a family of restaurateurs devoted to tavern cuisine. This popular cuisine has been the base for a high level cuisine and the starting point of his author cuisine.
His wife, Fina Navarro takes care of the dining room.
Open from Monday to Friday from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
Closed 21 days in August, at Christmas and Holy week.
He was awarded a national gastronomic price in 2000. Receives a 8/10 in Best of spanish gastronomy. This is one of the city most famous , also having received a 2 “Sun” designation from the Campsa guide and a one Star in the Michelin.
