The Grec Festival of Barcelona takes place ever summer since 1976. It´s organized by the Institute of Culture of the townhall of Barcelona and this year the opening is on the 24th of June.
The Grec Festival brings together big stars of music, dance and theatre. The main stage is in the beautiful and open Grec Theatre in Montjuic. This theatre was built for the Barcelona´s second universal exhibition. Other places are the Mercat de les Flors, L´Auditori, Teatre Lliure and the wonderful Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.
