Cirque du soleil comes back to Barcelona with the show Corteo. From the 20th of January till the 12th of February 2012 you can see this spectacular show in the Platform Zoo Barcelona ( Forum).
Corteo, ( Cortejo in Spanish) is a parade full of joy, a cheerful procession from the imagination of a clown. The show combines the passion of the actors with the elegance and power of the acrobat to plunge viewers into a mysterious world of theater, somewhere between heaven and earth, which mixes fun, comedy and spontaneity .
The clown represents his own funeral, which takes place in a carnival atmosphere, while a guardian angel is watching in silence. Through a mix of large and small, the ridiculous and tragic, the magic of perfection and the charm of imperfection, the show highlights the strength and weakness of the clown, as well as his wisdom and sensitivity to illustrate that portion of humanity that resides within us all. The music and lyrics carries Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality.

Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian circus company created by former street performers Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier. In the tent on the platform of the Marine Zoo, actors and acrobats fill the track to offer the always impressive and magical Cirque du Soleil.
