The sheer number of restaurants in Barcelona is amazing and you can have anything from a local tapas cheap meal to an international dining experience. Eating out isn’t too expensive particularly as wine is reasonably priced in comparison to other European countries. If you want to do as the locals do then lunch is eaten between 1 and 2 but can go on until 4, this is siesta time in the city, dinner is then served from 9 until midnight. Monday is closing day for many of the restaurants and it’s advised to book for busy places as otherwise you will be disappointed as well as hungry! Apartments for rent Barcelona can be found right in the heart of the city and offer quality at a fair price. Wherever you stay you are never far from a good selection of restaurants, check out traditional Catalan cuisine and other regional specialities while you’re here or try Asian, Mediterranean, Turkish or Italian - the choice is wide and the food delicious. New restaurants are opening all the time, seafood is common due to the proximity to the ocean and locals love to eat out, so enjoy the atmosphere and the food.
