> Culture

The culture of Barcelona is rooted in its 2000 years of history and although the peope and area are Catalan, the city is really a mix of this and Spanish that have united to create a unique combination. A bilingual city there is also a great selection of entertainment and food from both cultures and the Catalans are particularly proud of their traditions and history which is reflected in the promotion of past and recent works. Barcelona is dynamic and maintains its individuality, you will never h=be bored here as there’s plenty to keep you busy. A self catering apartment Barcelona in the heart of the city can be found for very reasonable prices and puts you right in the centre of everything going on. The city has been undergoing renovation since the 90’s when the Olympic games were held here and these days it’s a cosmpolitan and chic place that attracts visitors from all over the world for its Mediterranean flavour, beaches and historical architecture, never mind the arts, fashion and cuisine. Part of the Barcelonian culture is to socialise and the night life starts late and often goes on until the early hours of the morning.
