There’s an endless selection of art galleries and museums in Barcelona, some have admission fees but feature a free day during the week. The Picasso Museum is a must on anyone’s sightseeing list as it has some of the best art ever produced by Spanish artists and a large collection of Picasso’s prints. The Museu Nacional D'Art de Catalunya is popular for its fascinating collection of Catalan art and the Romanesque art collection, whilst the Museu d’Historia de la Ciutat is a great place to explore as it’s mainly underground and you get to see streets, public baths that date back more than 2000 years!
