For Kids & Children

The Spanish adore children. Their motto seems to be: "the younger the better" and places provide lots of facilities to make life easier for parents visiting Barcelona with kids. If summer is the perfect time to visit this amazing city (as spending the day at the beach will make everyone happy) during the rest of the year there are lots of open spaces and parks where kids can run wildly and spend some of that great but sometime excessive energy they always seem to have. Have a walk on the famous Las Ramblas to keep them amused and entertained with endless stream of street performers and theatrics. Visit the zoo or the aquarium, and choose among the many exciting interactive exhibitions (such as the Amazon Forest, the Geological Wall and the Planetarium) that the CocmoCaixa science museum offers. An apartment in Barcelona for rent is the most authentic, comfortable and often cheapest way to visit it with children, as it offers you much more space, freedom and privacy than a hotel. Enjoy Barcelona!
